KarenDe-Challenge Chick says:I didn’t have quite as good a turnout as I had hoped, but I didn’t give people as much notice as I should have. The ladies who did come were very impressed, though. They seemed a little overwhelmed with the variety. Everybody left with something and seemed happy, so I’ll count it as a success and learning experience. I think I’ll try another party in a month or so.
By the way, you may have noticed I changed my picture. I’m thinking of using this photo on my business cards. What do you think?

Glad to hear your show went well. I am also planning to take part in a show with some friends late this fall. You are right about the need to let people know in advance, so they can make plans to attend. We are planning to do a show w/emphasis on Christmas gifts, etc.
My friends have done this before and say a holiday coming up can really increase sales. Good luck to us both!

And just this afternoon I dropped off a handful of quick business cards with this photo at the bridal shop next door. I’m hoping to get some commissions for bridal party sets – I really love to put together jewelry based on a particular person’s color and style likes.
