I like your combo, though the coral seems too red for my tastes (in this pick — otherwise, I really like it!

I have some of the red tiger eye and the dark color in it is either a VERY dark shade of brown or black. It’s hard to tell, so it could pass as either one.
With the dress you described, I would go with the red tiger eye pendant. I think the CZ, while beautiful, would detract from your overall design. Be sure to post a photo of what you end up creating for your lucky friend!
