“A Cranium Crack'd...or Aggie”

Description from puppychick labratbecky: ..Reading Shakespeare. I think that ocean blue impression jasper looks like the top of a skull with cracks in it. I tried to follow the theme with other cracked stones and those lockets all look like little books to me. What better book cover for Shakespeare than an owl? (OK, I know a raven would have been better for sure.) :)

    Julie Shane says:

Becky you must be dealing with Hamlet and the skull at the graveyard. Shakespeare would approve of cracked skulls. He was a little odd in his own way. And I think he’d like the owl… very Macbeth like. The raven probably belongs to Poe.

Really pretty pick. Love the various shades of blue. I never have figured out the meaning of “Aggie”…

Julie, didn’t you get my message? Try your wire. I’m not sure how I sent it but it explains Aggie–She’s just a crazy, sweet, adventurous older lady, fearless and fun. And yes, in my addled state here, I did get Poe and the Bard screwed up! I am a scientist, not an English Lit major. :) I need to go to bed. You will probably be the only person who comments on this rather bizarre pick. :) xoxo!

What a delight! Great choices — I also think that locket looks like a book! :D

P.S. I agree with your description of Aggie, though I never thought of her as “old” — maybe just in her 50′s like I am! 8)

    Asia says:

Becky, only you can have think of something like that, I always thought of those lockets as books or tombstones ;)

  8. puppychick labratbecky
    puppychick labratbecky says:

Lynn–50′s aren’t old from my perspective, either, but I guess I was considering the young’uns in the posse. Asia– I really like the tombstone idea. Thanks for opening my eyes!! :)

Hmmm… Aggie is indeed adventurous! An actress, too ! I think the stormy Blue Pearls help set the scene !
..and I agree with Lynn: 50′s are not old. ;)
