Description from Mary S - Sweet Chick: My upcoming show is Nov. 21st and 22nd. Next weekend!! These are my instructions for for decorating my table.
"Exhibitors are asked to display their goods in and eye-catching, festive manner as done in the traditional Christkindlmarkts in Germany." How do I do this without taking the attention away from the jewelry? I NEED help!

Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Mary, What color are your table coverings? I gave some answer on not ready for my show; but I am giving it some thought! A few jars filled with cranberries, and a column candle in each would be a quiet decoration, perhaps placed on a round mirror?
Or you could fill a vase/ bowl with ornaments, and set that out.
Also, you could use a (gaarland type) greens along the edge of the table.
Whatever you do, it will be awesome!!!

Chicky Zee aka Alice says:Yes Mary as Lorrie said I usually place candles and garland around edge of my table add dish with ornaments My son did my table he thought his idea was better My table covering is red/green or red/white.. Whatever you do will be beautiful.

Mary S - Sweet Chick says:My table covering is off white and I thought I would accent with a colored cloth of some sort, gold, red or dark green. (Still need to purchase that.)

The show board also recommended something with height behind the display such as a lighted tree. I have a small one but have not figured out yet how to place it.
Alice, I like the idea of garland on the edge of the table. I will give that some thought.
Lorrie, I did see your comments about the hat boxes and gold cloth bunched up around it. That sounded good too.
Oi! I think I have to rethink my WHOLE display!! Gonna’ have to think SOON!!!
I’m still open to more suggestions!

Mary S - Sweet Chick says:WOW! Elaine! Thank you! I checked out the website for Christkindlmarkt and they are quite ‘gaudy’ aren’t they?! I guess I need to buy lights and lots of them!!!

CAS says:Nutcrackers … lots of nutcrackers (borrow or buy) … draped with your jewelry of course. Lights and mirrors or mirrored ornaments, that way you don’t need a ton of lights to get a twinkling effect for your pieces. Or pile christmas wrapped boxes (in colors that compliment your jewelry) and hang your pieces from them.
Good luck Sweet Chick!!!! Hugs!!!
