“A Home Among the Gum Trees..”

Description from Lynn in Oz: Along the back fence at my place there are a few gum trees (possible grey gums- which is just a variety of gum). They have this silvery grey trunk and very little brown.
The leaves are a brighter green when new, but over time get a grey colour to them. So this is my tribute to the gum trees :)

Lynn in Oz says:They are prety, but also very hazardous. They have very shallow roots which means in high winds they can fall over.
Last year we had one take out our clothes line and back fence!
Once the wind and yucky weather stops I will get a piccy.

Chicky ChaCha says:I LOVE THIS—the name of the street I actually live on is Gum Ave–among a variety of tree names in the area—we had to have our house on Gum which sounds so blah compared to Sweet Gum or Maple or Elm, yada yada.
