Description from J Yee smart chick: Okay, this one is a little late... on memorial day, while I was visiting my friends David and Maria, up on Whidbey Island, we saw a beautiful little fawn, early that morning, one of the mama deer had just given birth, and the baby deer was still wobbly legged at first; later, we saw the fawn leaping gracefully in the bushes in their back yard - a most magical moment!

my friend Maria called me last night, to let me know that mama deer has had a second baby fawn, too – she wanted to know if I could come visit them again this weekend, she said both of the fawns are beautiful, with those lovely white spots that only fawns have!!
Unfortunately, I am working today, later on – busy weekend, volunteering at my local food bank, visiting a friend here this afternoon, off to work later after, then a BBQ at another friend’s tomorrow afternoon, sure wish I could go visit my friends again and see mama deer and her two babies!!
