Description from Daisy Chick - Dawn: Please if you haven't had your furnace cleaned and checked Do It Now! I insisted my parents have their furnace cleaned and checked since Mom didn't know when it was serviced. There were 3 small cracks allowing carbon monoxide to escape! This can be deadly and the detectors didn't pick the gas up! Prevent tragic situation. Thanks Chickies!

Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Thank-you Sobead! I am so relieved. Mom called me and told me the furnace man said your daughter may have saved your life and your husbands. Our furnace gets check every fall and our man is coming on Friday.

Beadlady3 aka Cindy says:I had a carbon monoxide detector and it worked for us. The alarm was going off, then quiting, then going off…when I realized it was in sync with the furnace running, we got out of the house & called a repair service. Sure enough, cracked heat exchange. You are a wise daughter! (and the pick is pretty, too!)

Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Thank-you Bella! Please pass the word out. It is so easy to forget or just not get our furnaces checked. WE get out furnace checked each fall and the air conditioning each spring. It is the best money I spend. It is okay to skimp on some things but never the furnace.
