I can imagine hiking a trail above timberline and seeing all the different flowers gently nodding in the breeze.
    Great pick and perfect title!

Thanks, Sweet Chick! We’re just waiting for flowers to start blooming up here – was kind of a dry winter. Still hoping for some rain!

Up here? Where are you if I may ask?
Are you in the mountains perhaps?

Sending out a little prayer for some rain for you. It’s awfully early in the year to be short of rain already. Sorry to hear you’re so dry.
    Here’s hoping!

Bandit’s Mom, you are more than welcome to some of Philly’s rain – yesterday and today (so far, day’s not over yet) are the first rain-free days in about 12 days…. you guys think it rains a lot in Seattle? ha! Philly get tons!

OOOOO Bandits mom, My husband and I LOVE Colorado!!! We tend to frequent the southwest part of the state, from Montrose to Ridgeway, Norwood (and the Lone Cone Cafe), East Dallas and Nellie Creeks in Uncompaghre National Forest.

    Rain, rain, rain!!!!
Please green up the mountains PLEASE!

Mary, believe it or not, I’ve been to Norwood – and done the Norwood “Hill” – isn’t that wonderful? And I’ve eaten at the Lone Cone! Have you ever been to the Royal Gorge? It’s about 25 miles east of Cotopaxi, where I live. No wonder you know timberline – ever hiked up uncompaghre peak? Awesome!

Yep! Climbed Uncompaghre several times but it’s been awhile. Not as young as I used to be. Been up Mt Sneffles too about 2 years ago. Well, at least my husband made it all the way up. I stopped at about 50 feet from the top. It was getting a little bit scary for me and I was proud of myself for making it as far as I did.
We’ve also hiked the other side of Sneffles on the Blue Lakes trail. Gorgeous alpine meadows up there!

We haven’t been to the Royal Gorge yet. We’ve driven by it but we tend to shy away from the more popular tourist areas. I’ve got a pretty good idea where you’re located though.
Lucky you! Living in such a beautiful state!

    Good morning Bandits mom!
Sorry for the delay in your answer.
I’m in Indiana. A far cry from Colorado!
