“An Apple A Day”

Description from Chickie Nonnie T: I just got this fantastic apple peeler that makes it soooo easy to peel an apple. I still can't peel anything since my carpal tunnel surgery. It's not healing like it should...

I’m sorry about your carpal tunnel! That’s definitely NO fun! On the bright side though, it gives you an irrefutable excuse to buy new toys! ;) I hope you heal quickly and feel your very best again soon!!

I love homemade apple pie, apple sauce and applebutter! Unfortunately it all requires alot of peeling. Sorry about the surgery and the slow healing process. I have to be careful that I don’t type too much or my wrists hurt. This is a lovely pick!

thank you so much chickies. I’m hoping the apple peeler will also encourage me to eat more apples!
As far as my hand/wrist goes, it’s a slow process. My surgery was August 20th and here it is Oct.19. The bad thing is I already had some pretty rough arthritis and it worries me that my hand is even stiffer, more swollen and hurts more than before. It worrys me some that I may not be able to work the pliers and tools for beading. I really love making jewelry, I know you all know exactly how I feel! I’ve started laying out some things and actually managed to put a couple together, with my hubbys help. Anyway, The good news is that it is not numb! I just need to be patient – I get my remicade infusion next week, the first one since July(usually every 6 weeks). Sorry for the running on, but I know you chickies will understand my worries….
