They are having a customer appreciation day with gift bags and they are willing to put my business cards in every customers bag in exchange for a donation of a small door prize! Sounds fair enough!!

I am hoping that the manager of the store will allow me to bring in a small display case with a lock that will keep things secure but still allow the pieces to be viewed. I’m actually a bit nervous about this…not sure why! I was originally hoping that they were just looking for some gemstone jewelery to sell on consignment rather than a one-time thing…but it’s a start.
Not sure yet what I’ll give as a door prize, Lynn, if I’m accepted.

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Yippee…I’ve been accepted into the Pennington’s store at the mall for their ‘customer appreciation day’!! The manager explained how it will all work and it sounds wonderful….when they do the hourly draws for door prizes, they will say a bit about the donation and the person/company behind it. So I will ask them to tell their customers where to find my items in the gallery downtown. In addition, EVERYONE who comes into the store will be handed a small gift bag with hand-outs and business cards, not just the people that purchase something! She is also allowing me to bring in my small display case that will be displayed all day that will show off some of my items!!! Whoooo-hooooo!!!
