OK Jacki says:Maria, this is great! My favorite movie, and, believe it or not…if you go back to my ‘old’ picks…my very FIRST pick on LB (way back in 2010) was called, yep – “Ashes of Roses”. And, it was based on this very thing. Unfortunately, we didn’t have those absolutely stunning PH roses back then. Love this pick – straight to the faves!!!

so yes, how could anyone forget that miniseries? My husband had a pair of students who got married right out of highschool during those years and named their first child Meggie. Meggie has now also graduated from the same high school. 
I would love the color even if it didn’t remind me of the gorgeous costars of that movie!
