Description from J Yee smart chick: and this Pick is yet another experiment, for some lovely new jade oval beads, sitting in my bead box and chattering "ya gonna use me???", as I still ponder ideas for what starring gemstone to use, to make a necklace for my friend's upcoming fundraiser that she asked me to make a piece of jewelry for... I really like the delicate look of new jade - it looks so fragile, yet it is stronger than it looks - it always makes me think of early spring, as plants and flowers begin to sprout again...
anyone remember that cheesy show, "The Dating Game", and the announcer would say to the contestants (women) "Now, behind door #1 is bachelor #1... so too it is, with my potential gemstone strands, chattering to me from my bead box - :), as they say "Pick me, pick me..."

J Yee smart chick says:Thank you, Jackie, Alice, Puppychick, Lynn, Coral and ST, greatly appreciatte all of your friendly and funny comments – so glad that some of you also remember that cheesy ’60′s TV show, the Dating Game – honestly, I am just trying to “listen” really carefully to my beads and decide which kind of bead will be the “star”, without going broke buying all the “supporting cast” beads to go along –
and, I love trying out possible combos like these, to determine the palette and other design elements.
And, sometimes I think that I love the fun of just putting pieces and beads I like together, such as the lovely vintaj pieces here, w/ the new jade and magenta beads, into a Pick, I don’t think that I would put all three of these pendants in the same actual piece of jewelry, it would not be a coherent piece – what do you all think??
