Have you visited Big Bend N.Park? So many contrasts: green by the Rio Grande; dry beige and sand tones elswhere; just immense! So many types of birds to see by the river, and watch out for the snakes! There are even exhibits (or at least there used to be) about the dinosaur bones discovered there.
