Description from Southern Chick: We had blackberries growing across a fence in B'ham Ala. 20 years ago. I picked a bunch to make jams etc. and decided to put some into a wine glass with a Chardonnay (sp) for my then husband. Everything was fine until he made a face and said, "This sure is a slick blackberry!" He then pulled out a big black beetle..So much for romance that evening! LOL There is a sprig of mint on the top!
