   Where do you pick at? We went to a local farm, Highland Orchards! Yes it was very warm. I brought water bottles for the kids- they were all so very good! This was the first time our Danny had ever been!

   We finally have bushes big enough to give us berries! We planted the first ones over 6 years ago and last year was the first major picking we had.

   I like how the place you went to had netting over the bushes. How do they cover so many? Sure would help keep the birds off.

   I am waiting untill the 22 for Blackberry picking- that is my favorite!
   In the fall, we pick apples too

   I only allow my children one sample…then they all have to go in the berry basket! That way, we pay for what we pick! If Danny had his way, he would have eaten them ALL! Dan is the little guy picking in the first pic w/ Rhi.

    We went in June, and picked strawberries. Next are blackberries, and then Peached & apples. We always make thinkgs together fter we pick, too. W/ Straw…we made shortcake. Tomorrow we wll have blueberry pancakes, and dessert tomorrow will be blueberry cobbler.
    When we pick blackberries, we make pie, then applesauce, and baked peaches.
