A great cobbler tip- bake the berries “naked” for the first 20 or so minutes until they’re bubbly hot, then drop the biscuit topping on and bake for the 20-30 minute remainder- it helps the biscuits cook from the bottoms as well as the tops, so they don’t get soggy bottoms!
