I love it as a very simple earring. Add a crystal dangle at the bottom tip and another at the top between the filigree and the brass earwire. Or, leave off the top crystal as I did and the earring is still beautiful. I had a thriftshop find of a necklace which had topaz glass emerald cut beads and tiny gray/pewter colored crystal drops between them connected with antique brass wire and findings. I needed a pair of earrings to go with it so I removed two of the tiny gray dangles from the back of the necklace and attached them to the bottom of my diamond shaped filigree pieces. It looks great. I really recommend these diamond filigrees as they are very delicate and very light weight.
