Description from Julie Shane: I pulled a deep burgundy sweater out of my closet today. It's still hanging on my doorknob... because I don't have anything to wear with it! What's wrong with me?
The garnet is the color of the sweater, but the mookaite will provide the POP of color.
The mission leaf pendant will be the focal with some dangles and accents. I'm toying with making earrings out of 2 different leaves: similar but different. I'm stepping outside my comfort zone!

At the moment, I think I’m more in love with the copper leaves… I want to try the crazy earring idea. I fully admit it comes from Ali’s idea of “non-identical twin” earrings. It’s such a cool idea.

puppychick labratbecky says:Go for it! I have never been comfortable with mookaite. I think it’s because the color variation is from stone to stone istead of being tight enough to be within every stone. Yup, weird. I do love the colors and I think this would be a fantastic idea!
