You’ve gotten lots of good advice — aloe, Tylenol/aspirin, cold compresses, drink gallons of water, apply gallons of lotion with aloe to keep skin moist (even after the red is gone) or you will peel like a potato! Oh, and stay out of the sun.

Okay, enough scolding. As the Chickys have said, drink lots & lots & lots of water, aloe lotion to the burn no less than twice a day, perferably 3 – 5 times a day, DON’T WEAR A BRA!, the rubbing from the straps will make it worse, IF you blister DON’T POP THEM, if they break on their own cover them with NONSTICK gauze with a bit of Bacitracin, DON’T use tape directly on your skin, use a roll of gauze & wrap it around to secure the nonstick gauze, change the dressing twice a day (morning/night), and above all don’t go in the sun uncovered.

Last year, my husband got a really bad burn from touching the motor on the lawn mower. We heard about the honey from a friend. It was so amazing. It took away the burning hurt feeling away pretty quickly, and by morning it was much better. Within a few days he hardly new it happened. And it didn’t leave a scare as it would have normally.
The honey is an old Egyptian remedy. But remember, it has to be raw unfiltered honey, the purest form. We always keep it on hand now. It’s truly amazing. And I’m all for natural remedies!!!!!!!!
