Went home and took a nap. Then went to Wal-Mart and saw him again. I tried to shake him, but it proved impossible. He went with me to Dillard’s… I finally broke free. However, we’ve been emailing all evening. He’s telling me I really ought to slice those white peaches I bought, put them in a jar full of vanilla vodka, leave ‘em for a couple of days, blend, and drink. We’ll see…. Sounds like a pick, doesn’t it????!!!!!

Kimberly graduated last May from DePauw University where her dad is full professor in the School of Music. This year, she’s been living (rent-free)for the last year with her dad in NYC. He’s heading the Watson Foundation for 2 years before going back to DePauw.
Lori, it’s quite conceivable that we will celebrate with both. But if she comes home to Texas, we’ll go to Port Aransas and celebrate with whatever’s handy.

ChickyD aka Debra says:Yes, she is. I have a 21-year-old daughter at Earlham College in Richmond, IN. She just finished her junior year in New Zealand. Then I have a son who will be a high school senior here in central Texas. He’s in NYC right now with his dad–a welcome break for the both of us.

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:We have one child, Suzanne, who is 30. She is married and has three little girls — Jenna (3 1/2 years), Kaitlyn (1 1/2 years) and Aubrey (10 weeks). They live in Bloomington, IN. Suzanne works full-time as an assistant store manager and her husband is a stay-at-home dad and has his own lawn care business.
