Makes me think of an old time summer Tea, with all the ladies in pretty frocks, holding dainty little purses and handkerchiefs. The dresses were longer, with full skirts and had lots of petticoats. I would have been under 10 years old back then. Wow! Time just flies. I used to wonder why my grandmother said things like that! LOL

However, I also remember starched slips to make the skirts stand out nicely…and those things itched! It wasn’t all perfect, but some of the pictures in my memory are still lovely.
