Southern Chick says:Amen!!!! I’ve got a new job in the fall at a new school. I’ll be teaching 4th grade instead of K. This past year was torture! The admin was nutty, to say the least. There is going to be another year of high turn-over. Good to talk to you again. We also just bought a new house and are in the process of moving. I actually still have 1 day left at the old school to finish up my room and a little paperwork. Then….its rest and unpack! What are your plans for the summer. How weather is already scorching here! Unreal. Is the BP mess affecting you any? I’m so mad about the spill and the name calling and foot draggin….I swear!
Well talk to you soon. I’ll be more active now that summer is here! Yippee.
Son has spent the past year in Austria on a Fulbright scholarship and has decided to go to med school in Dublin, Ireland. Hopefully, we can go and visit sometime in the next year or two. Isn’t it amazing how fast the summer flies by?

He’s upwardly mobile, if you know what I mean. Great DRY sense of humor (really kinda WARPED)and only 30 years old. We all love him!
Not too many plans this summer…really none. No cruise in the works. My son graduated high school. Middle daughter graduated college. Oldest child finished a Masters at Columbia. The son is sticking around instead of going to his dad’s and driving me CRAZY.
I may try to get to Port Aransas at some point.
I had some health issues around Easter…strep pneumonia meningitis. Missed about a month of work. I’m seeing an audiologist to discuss the hearing loss I suffered as a result of it.
Great year with my after school choir…We sang for the Teacher of the Year luncheon and the district’s employee appreciation banquet.
Congratulations on your son! I certainly hope you get a chance to visit Dublin!

New school! New house! so much has happened since we last chatted.
I still have 2 more weeks of school. This week is going to be crazy – The children have to finish power point presentations for Friday’s Celebration with parents and have to finish Father’s Day projects.
And I’ve am missing 2 days due to pancreatitis and doctor’s app’ts.
ps – love your pick – beautiful colors. The donuts make perfect tubes.
