    Thank You. It is a tree and a bush with lilac shaped flowers. Different colors.

    Mine is not blooming yet , but is ready to…and the color will be as in my pick…But next door already does:)

    This tree’s trunk is also very interesting as it peels in layers and then looks like polished and then next year it goes peeling again…

    they are such a pretty tree. they planted a bunch in Fairmount Park, around the Phila Art Museum a few years back – do you know, somebody came in the middle of the night an stole them? oooh, my non-nativeness is showing again……

    Thank You:) I love them too. At our old house we had 4 trees and one bush of Crape Myrtle on the front lawn and two Crape Myrtle bushes on the back:)All in this color:) But I also like the lilac color: looks a lot like a lilac tree which is not doing too good in our heat.
