Description from Debbi aka Sparkle Chick: Today is the 8 year anniversary of my cancer surgery.
I had colon cancer. The awareness ribbon color is topaz brown and I love the beads Lima has available!
Gotta say it...colonoscopies can save lives!
And...they are painless.

Lynn, the prep wasn’t so bad this time. I had yet another colonoscopy a month ago….I got to take a newer prep…called OsmoPrep….all pills! Not for people who have trouble swallowing pills tho’…GREAT prep for me!
Mystic Chick, I DID do the Tom Cruise Risky Business dance in my underwear! MY version WILL NOT be seen on youtube!

I don’t have a history but TOMORROW I am having my first colonoscopy done. I too have the osmoprep pill b/c I didn’t think I could drink anything that doesn’t taste just right. I begin my pill taking in about a half hour so will probably not be on much after that! Thanks again for your openness and letting us all say congratulations to you on your 8th anniversary of being cancer free!

The OsmoPrep is good but drink a lot of liquid…broth, etc. to stay hydrated. Take good care and I’ll be thinking of you.
