There has got to be a story here. :) Too cute and we need POD!! ;)

That’s what I was trying to decide on. It sounds like life in general but interestingly applied to beading. You know how we start out with a design in our head and after tearing apart 3 or 4 times we are finally happy and it no longer resembles the original design.

Thank you all for your kind words! Nancy, you unveiled the meanings behind this crazy pick. It is indeed about life and definitely about beading :)

The title is a partial from a song “We Fall Down”, written by Kyle Matthews, and sung by Christian music artist, Donnie McClurkin.

The lyrics are simply comprised of:
“We fall down but we get up for a saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up.”, with a few more words.

The components of the pick remind me of other words to describe what life sometimes hurls at you, or does to you – rough, tumbled, hammered, never-ending, hard knocks, etc.

~~It’s been a tough couple of decades, as I’m sure it has been for millions of others. Coming here to Lima Beads is a fun way to escape :) and enjoy the artistry of others.

I sure could use a few of these things, so let’s hope for a POD – does that sound selfish?? :0)

Not selfish at all! After my first comment I began to think of babies just beginning to walk; all their tumbles, tears and tribulations … just like life. I have my fingers crossed for a POD.
