“Farewell Simon, Simone”

Description from Little Round Chick: It has been a busy six weeks for Simon and Simone. They have traveled and partied all over the USA and Europe. Now they are retiring to their lovely tropical island. They are ready for the quiet life. Simone has put her elegant and extravagant ermine evening wrap with the black tail tips around the collar and the jewel encrusted buttons in cold storage. What is left of the Mango Potato and Mango Dancing pearls have been placed in a bank vault. The High Fashion clothes from Rio have been put away in cedar lined closets. Simone has retired from her life as the Hostess with the Mostest. She needs time to regenerate in the tropical sun and sip fruit smoothies. Simon will manage their stocks, bonds and other investments in the peace and quiet found on their serene island. They will take short trips to the mainland so the can drive their cars. Simone just couldn't give up her Screaming Red Banshee with pin stripes and Ghost Flames. Nor could she allow Simon to relinquish his Purple Huff Rialto Coupe de Elegance. After all it had been in his family since the early '30s. They will be garaged on the mainland and kept in readiness for the occasional trips Simon and Simone make. Ah, the quiet life. How long do you think it will last? Only the Shadow knows.....
