Faithful Chick aka Faith says:This brought back memories. About 52 years ago while living with my Grandparents, their nieghbors name was(no kidding) Mr. and Mrs Ira Gump. One day they had a granddaughter visiting who was my age. She came running over and said,”Come over and see Grandpas bon-fire”
I understood and heard the word bon-fire, I was however not expecting Mr. Gump to be burning trash and leaves. I thought I was going to see his very large garage barn on fire. Well as close as it was to my Gramma’s I was happy it was trash but I was also disappointed because I thought the fire was going to be a 100 times larger. LOL
