KPJEWELS says:Thanks Lynn, I hope he gets the job also. My oldest grandson (Kristofer) will be 16 in a month, and yes he is one of the 3 grandchildren who bead with me. We still haven’t heard about the job yet, but we are hoping. He has ADD and is a little backward when meeting new people so he hasn’t hit the right place yet for a job. He has been trying all summer but with no luck. He is so anxious to get something part-time but….I keep hoping.

Beading is a wonderful, creative activity for someone with ADD. My brother couldn’t focus on schoolwork. but would sit for hours creating with his erector set. (definitely dating myself.)

Kristofer went to driver training this week so I don’t think he was too awfully disappointed in not getting the job at this time. Kristofer used to like to play with GI Joe and Dinky cars. He used to have a Captain’s bed and would haul the bed out, get under it and pull the bed back into place. He would play under there for hours, all by himself.
