Description from seashellsally: A flash of a memory from a few years back, Northern Tanzania at sunset after the rains having just crossed the serengeti, by Lake Manyara. The lake is pink with flamingos. One of my best pink and green memories.

As I turned around from this sight (this was in the late 1970’s) a convoy of Land Rovers with armed outriders motioned us off the road, and, who do you think popped out of the sunroof from the middle of the caravan? His beard flying? None other but Castro. Go figure. The memory should be ‘Flamigo Cuban Green’.
