Fluorite Beads

Like vibrant hyacinth flowers emerging in the Spring, fluorite gemstones dazzle with distinctive multi-color hues. So fresh! Fluorite derives its name from the Latin word “fluere” meaning to flow, because fluorites are used as flux in iron smelting.

Fluorite comes in a stunning rainbow of colors including green, purple, blue, and yellow. Individual beads can feature multiple colors. While some beads are lightly banded, it is more common for fluorite to be transparent with light washes of color. No other stone achieves this look! This stone manages to have a substantial feel while looking delicate. Fluorite is a mostly transparent stone made of calcium fluoride. It is often found in the UK, Myanmar, and Peru.

Fluorite is said to be beneficial to relaxation and provide clarity.
