puppychick labratbecky says:Jacki, it was digitalis (that is the scientific name). It comes straight from this flower. Deadly plants very often give us useful medicines. Vincent Van Gogh might have had hallucinations from his digitalis that caused him to see rings of light around the stars and he painted his vision. Love this purple rendering of foxglove, Christine!! I am wondering how you do working in a garden center—I would end up spending my entire paycheck on plants.
