Woot! ::Happy dancing:: Mmmmmm…basil…home made pest…. ::drools:: Love basil, love pesto…hubby makes phenominal pesto…Garlic Lovers pesto at that…nomnomnomnom…I make a dipping oil with basil, garlic, sun dried tomatos, and a touch of red pepper.Olive oil of course, extra virgin. heh. :D

    Yes, I overindulge on garlic too, he-he….

    I make a dipping oil also similar to yours with red pepper flakes. And lots of garlic and fresh basil just torn by hand, and with gray coarse salt. Then fresh baked focaccia
    tored in pieces… A glass of red wine… haven!

    Pretty pick. Trying to play catch up and not comment on picks… sorry. This one has me hungry. lol I had green beans with basil flaked on them. Love the fresh on them but didn’t have any. Was good though. Yummmm! Pretty pick!

    Ravin, gray salt is sea salt . I buy the French or California ones. It is pricey but you do not need much of it as the granuls of it very tasty :) So the pinch go along way…
