KittyMom Linda says:Yes, yes, yes, with Granny Smith apples. You got that green perfect. One of my favorite fall treats. Don’t like candy apples though. When I was a kid I was at the Bloomsburg Fair and a horse stole my candy apple right from my hand. My arm was in his mouth all the way up to my elbow. Traumatized – no more candy apples for this girl.

Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Oooh don’t tempt me, I am trying to drop a few pounds. When I was a little girl we had a field trip to the zoo. I brought an apple just to give to a giraffe. I grew up with horses so I didn’t have any fear. I even petted him. My teacher was really shook up though. It’s a favorite memory for me.

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Whoa Kitty Mom Linda!!! Sorry to hear the scare keeps you away from such delicious treat. I have never bought one of these for fear I would get a bad apple and even $5.00 is too much for that price, let alone $6 or $8. My mouth just waters everytime we go to St. Augustine for one of these. They have them at the outlet mall and in downtown historic George street candy store.
My heavens I thought Kitty Mom Linda was going to have a tooth or Teeth experience with the apple. Never dreamed I would get here to find a horse involved.
