KarenDe-Challenge Chick says:Grandma’s been gone for a few years now, but I always remember her when I curl up with the teenage version she crocheted for me. And now that the great GREAT grandkid generation is getting into swing, I feel sad knowing they will never get to snuggle up with one of her soft blankets of love. I hate to see these kinds of traditions die out, I wish I had asked her to teach me to crochet. Good memories, though.

I crocheted a baby afghan for each of my kids, and still have them. I guess someday, when they are settled into homes of their own, I will need to pass those along.
