seashellsally says:In a word, organic, lots of texture! I have also been looking at the tree agate but avoiding it, thinking it too “busy”. The malachite definitely calms down the busyness. Love the contrast. I have also been looking at the white pyrite, however, I am trying to find clear quartz with pyrite. Have you thought of using the tree agate with a green turquoise? Not as much contrast as the malachite, just a thought.
Great pick as always! Thank you!
By the way, I thought, at first, your picture was a picture of you.

J Yee smart chick says:thanks seashellsally and wemai, sure appreciate your comments! yep the tree agate sure is a “busy” stone w/ its white and green, will continue to experiment w/ tree agate and other stones that might go well, such as new jade, african jade, green moonstone, african opal… I like the white pyrite quartz now that I’ve taken a look at it, the grayish matrix is what mekes it interesting to me… and I again imagined fairies flitting thru a forest w/ these colors…

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Joyce, this is a lovely combo! Thanks for the info on the white pyrite quartz — I had been thinking about ordering some, but wasn’t sure what it would be like.
BTW, I LOVE green tea, hot or cold!
