The daily fresh pick sale (or “pick of the day” as we call it) is based on a number of things. There are a mix of inventory, pricing, availability, and other factors. For example, we don’t often put something on sale that has all new items that were just added to the web site… that’s not fair to the people who just bought them at full price But that’s just one example. Randomness is also a factor… with so many Fresh Picks getting created, this is important because we can’t always go through all of this by hand. Finally, we don’t give preferential treatment to anyone, or exclude anyone on purpose… it’s mostly a random game.

I think the secret to being selected as POD must be to choose only old, ugly, inexpensive beads, and to arrange them in a beautiful way, right?
Maybe I didn’t interpret that statement of Steve’s correctly….. LOL

Funny story — I’ve only been chosen for POD twice and both were almost completely yellow picks. When it happened for the second time (just recently), I told my hubby that LB must have a whole bunch of yellow beads they want to try and unload! ROTFLOL
