Kitty Chicky Cat says:Yes, I think Twix was happy to See me (though he was very calm and cat like about it)! he’s sitting on the chair next to me right now, we’re about to go to bed. Yayyy! I get to sleep in my own bed! (ok that sounded weird!) But it’s one of the worst parts of traveling! Sleeping in the creaky hotel beds or whatever your host can find for you (blanket over cot that might be patio furniture was one of the more interesting ones)! I really do appreciate it but it’s just not the same!

. My Dad says that he’s always happy to see me after traveling because then “I know that I’m home”. He and Mom just spent most of the month at my Nana’s taking care of her after her “incident”, and sleeping on her VERY uncomfortable pull-out sofa.

CAS says:Nana is doing alot better, her cellulitis has cleared up (3 different antibiotics), her bruises are fading, her wounds are healing nicely without infection, her legs are less swollen, and she’s back to using her cane. Of course, now that we’re not watching her 24-7 she’ll be back to doing the things that got her into trouble in the first place, but what can you do with a stubborn 90 year old Polish woman.
I’m doing okay, still looking for work, and, of course, BEADING. How, other than uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, was your trip? Pictures????

CAS says:She “fell”, kind of, a month ago Saturday. She decided to plant some flowers in a planter in the back yard. The planter wasn’t very high (8 inches), and was on the ground, and she bent over … well, she couldn’t straighten back up (back spasm) so she got down on her knees to try to get back up. Long story short, she spent 8 HOURS crawling/rolling around the back yard trying to get up. She FINNALLY pushed her life-line around 7pm, and got help. She spent 2 nights in the hospital after her ordeal, and we’ve (Mom, Dad, me & my Uncle from California) been staying with her until this past Thursday when she could manage again on her own.

I’m glad she finally called help!!! Good to hear she’s doing better, but, your right, She’ll probably be good for awhile, but, when the she starts to forget, look out!!! You’ve got my prayers!!!! I just came from visiting a stubborn 90 year old Norwegian who has had a stroke, quadruple bypass sugary, broke his arm and a finger last year, has eye problems (which are clearing with the drops) and still insists on driving his own car whenever he can!
Only ok? Well know that we Chickies love you and …just keep beading, just keep beading , beading ,beading! (someone brought Finding Nemo on the trip! I love Dory! Sometimes she and I have so much in common! LOL)
The trip was good! I didn’t take any pictures but I can ask if anyone else has some good ones I can share.
