    Two years ago, I asked Steve (“Mr. Computer Whiz”) about the selection of the POD’s. He said it has to do with a very complicated formula, including what they have in stock, plus which beaders they like best. JUST KIDDING!!! Well, maybe…… Actually, he said a bunch of stuff I didn’t completely understand. LOL He is sooooo smart!

    I wonder if it would help to offer the LB team a couple of bucks…. LOL

    Seriously, I do get frustrated (as many of you do) when a POD has a lot of out-of-stock items in it when it first appears on this page. I understand items going out-of-stock as the day progresses and we beaders buy them. Sigh.

    In all my ranting and raving (LOL ), I forgot to mention that I have that fab Grace Lampwork Fresh Heather Heart Focal and the matching toggle and they are even more beautiful in person!!! For now, I am hoarding them….. Some items are just too lovely to use right away….

    Lynn, I have been eyeing that heather heart focal too. Alas, my eyes are bigger than my pocketbook! But, about your holding on to favorite things, I do it too! I try not to. I remember when my precious Aunt died, she had drawers full of cloths and things she was saving for a special occasion. I vowed then to never do that, but find myself doing so as I get older. So I just give myself a smack up side the head and say ouch! no more holding on!

    I know what you mean, Peggy. I am trying to do better when it comes to using things (not just beads!) instead of keeping them packed away. If I’m not going to use them, perhaps I should pass them along to someone who will, such as my daughter.

    When my paternal grandmother passed many years ago, we went through her belongings and found so many lovely clothes with the tags still on them — most of them had been given to her as gifts by family members. So sad.

    I read somewhere that most people wear 20% of the clothing they own 80% of the time. That describes me perfectly. I tend to wear the same fave outfits over and over, while ignoring other pretty items hanging in my closet. Sigh. Perhaps this conversation will inspire me to wear something different!
