“I Hate/love Christmas Lights”

Description from Deb Harding: So this week I've been trying to decorate the outside of my house. Please tell me why lights that worked perfectly fine when you took them down last year decide to light only half the string this year? I could not find the offending bulb to save my life. So 4 new strings purchased and one of those decided to light only halfway. Arrrrgh!!!! That's just for across the roof. So get all that done, snowflakes and icicles hung from
house, little wire trees lit, paper and wreath on door, deer up and other stuff. Go to put garland around door and only 2 feet of lights are working! !!! You're kidding me???!!! I hate Christmas lights but I love it so much when the house is all lit up.
Back at it today. What usually takes a day and a half is taking 4 days this year.

Laud says:Great story for a pretty pick! I have a string from years ago that I keep babying because it does different light patterns. Problem is that each year, one of the colors decides to fail, so there’s the annual hunt for the one bulb that doesn’t work. Argh.

Julie Shane says:I was SO frustrated with lights on my tree last year that I dragged it down to the road and bought a new one! I guess I shouldn’t complain too much. The poor tree survived 9 Christmas seasons with me. That’s enought to make anyone fizzle! LOL!!!
