Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Yes we stay on the farm. It takes two days to get there from our house, it is about 800 miles, so we camp on the way up. We stay in the farm house but Steve snores so I want a place to go that will be peaceful so I get a good night sleep. Although I may kick him out of the bed and tell him to sleep in the camper if it is cold. Not that he can’t turn the heat on. I am hoping to see the northern lights while we are up there. Also the trumpeter Swans will be there. They migrate down from Canada and Alaska breed and spend the summer there. It is really something to see them.
The neighbors farm raises the Belgian Draft horses. They are huge. They are foaling so I hope to see the babies born or at least see the colts. They are so cute. REally huge graceful animals though.

Wrigley my one sheltie thinks he is a bird dog and chases the birds in the yard all the time. I tellhim he is a sheep dog not a bird dog, but I don’t think he cares.

Haven’t decided what we will do yet in August. I will keep you posted and fill you in on all the adventures. Last time we when up we had tornados and floods.

Roads were closed in Wisconsin due to flooding and Lake Delavan collasped about a half hour after we got thru the Wisconsin Dells area. They had to close the roads, the lake drained out. Homes colasped like a mudslide only it was water. Was a real mess. We we not sure if we would get tome without having to go way out of our way. What is a road trip without a little excitement?

You even have to take off your shoes. I have a dental implant so now I need to find out if I have to carry around a card that the doctor states what the implant is for.
