very cool! your enthusiam shows in your pick!
do you have feeders out – or are they attracted to a particular plant you have out?
I saw them here for the first time last year – actually, courtesy of my cat – NO! let me explain – I could not imagine what she was looking at – they’re so tiny, I didn’t see him at first – just kept looking in the direction that she was looking. for me, it was the Lantana that drew them, I think.

I am excited for your first sighting of a hummingbird !!
I am patiently waiting for them to fly north. Your pick ressembles them. Have you ever seen a hummingbird moth? We are so lucky to see all these gifts.

Sexy Chick – I can’t wait either – I’ll have a feeder above two butterfly bushes this year…Hope that’ll bring ‘em in!

Your pick is perfect for the little beauties!

I love watching birds…especially hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and bald eagles. This is our first summer living in our new home, and I couldn’t wait to see my hummingbirds. I have only seen one so far. But, I know there will be more. I actually have 3 feeders and I have planted a coral belle and bee balm. I can’t wait to see if they like the flowers. I have, no had, a seed feeder too and had many different visitors, until one morning at 5:30 a.m., I had an unwanted visitor who bent my hanging pole and chewed on my feeder!! I’m afraid to set it back out:( Darn bear!
