Milli aka Big Kitty says:I love the coffee bean jasper; the marbled coffee jasper would look good in this pick too! It’s amazing how many patterns these stones have, isn’t it? Great pick!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Thanks Chickies!! I have some of the coffee bean jasper here and I’m trying to figure out what to do with it!!
It is a very cool stone!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Hi Lynn, how are you doing tonight?
On Jul 09, 2009 at 11:30 pm #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:This is great Elaine. I’ve been having iced coffee every morning this week. It’s soooo good. I think the jasper would go great with some light beige, and/or cream colored even white maybe. They are unique pretty stones.

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:I’m great, Elaine! Hope all is well with you!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Thanks Tara, good ideas to try!!
Lynn, I’m good too…been working a lot. I just worked a couple of night shifts in the laundry for some extra $$$. The only thing that got me through was thinking about finding an order from LB in my mailbox that I would have expected to be here by now…the holidays in the first part of the month I’m sure is what is holding things up. I imagine that everything was closed on the Friday for your 4th of July holiday?? Or would it be on the Monday that things would be closed? Either way, I’m sure they will be here by tomorrow and I can hardly wait!
On Jul 10, 2009 at 12:37 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Actually, our post office was closed on Saturday for the holiday. Sorry our country’s festivities delayed your order getting there. Maybe next time someone from LB could meet you with it at the border….. LOL
Just think, all that extra $$$ means you can order more beads!!!
On Jul 10, 2009 at 12:45 am #
Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Certainly no need to apologize…it’s a very important holiday for you. I think I’ve just been spoiled because the last few orders have arrived in a week, which is amazing! So I’m just antsy and thinking out loud…
Do you not celebrate with a three day weekend down there? If one of our statutory holidays falls on a Saturday or Sunday, things are closed either on the Friday or the Monday.
Unfortunately, the extra $$$ is going to my credit card so I don’t have to find that bridge we were talking about a while ago! Hehehe!!
On Jul 10, 2009 at 12:50 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:I was suprised that the P.O. was only closed on Sat. Usually businesses here also take a 3 day weekend when the holiday is on Sat. or Sun. For example, Bob had that Fri. off as a holiday.
Hopefully, your LB package will be in your mailbox or on your porch tomorrow. Does your mail carrier come around in the morning or afternoon? Ours used to come in the late morning/early afternoon and now comes in the late afternoon. Yuck…. Didn’t mind it so much before I started ordering from LB!
On Jul 10, 2009 at 1:02 am #
Elaine aka Belly Chick says:That is very strange that your P.O. was only closed the one day for the holiday…usually gov’t workers get what seems like lots of extra days off!
Our mail usually comes about 10:00 or 11:00 in the morning which is perfect! I’d hate to have to wait until afternoon.
How’s Hubby doing? Is everything fine? I haven’t had a chance to go to g-mail for a while.

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:So far, so good. He went back to work Mon. and hasn’t been told anything yet. The new company will take over later this month. There will be another week of temp. lay-offs, July 20-24. So, we just wait…. Figure that’s all we really can do at this point, plus keep a positive attitude! Thanks for asking!
How is Amy feeling these days?
On Jul 10, 2009 at 1:13 am #
Elaine aka Belly Chick says:I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and hubby!! Waiting would be the hardest…

Amy has had another stretch with seizures again last week but is now back to work. I guess we just have hope that her seizures don’t get any worse.
It’s been nice catching up with you Lynn! I have to run off to bed now; work again tomorrow and maybe new beads…!!
Chat with you later!! Have a good night!
On Jul 10, 2009 at 1:19 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:I’ll keep good thoughts for Amy that she stays seizure-free, Elaine! It was fun talking with you tonight! Hope your beads arrive tomorrow! Good night!
