Description from Elaine aka Belly Chick: Here is an idea I had to use up my peach pits...I might have to get some more African Turquoise to put with it instead of the Ruby Zoisite because they show up much greener in the picture. But in person they are far enough away from each other that I can hardly tell they are different. What do you ladies think? I like the peach pits but have been unsure how to work with them.

    For me personally, I like the three lowest peach pits, but the two towards the back of the necklace seem too big and light – a bit distracting from the other colors for that point on the neck. I do really like the texture and color play in the necklace, though.

    Hi Gem Chick…I agree actually. I think I may have to get some more of the African turquoise. I had no other green/blue stones to try with it so this was an experiment more to get an idea for the peach pits. The picture does show quite a difference in the colors but in person (unless a person really, really knows their stones) I’m not sure it would be noticeable. but I probably won’t leave this necklace as is.
    Ohhh…Smart Chick, the idea of the peach pits along with the honey tourmalinated sounds like a wonderful idea!! I can picture it now! :-)
