Awesome pick Deb—I have huge respect for our men and women who lay down their lives to protect and keep this country’s freedoms! They have not been treated so well over the years in many ways and so many become forgotten! Sadly even though these brave men and women are ready to give up their lives we have let others inside of our own country erode away at our freedoms anyway! Sorry had to sound off a bit on that. Thanks for this lovely patriotic pic for our vets and service people Deb!

Everday My Husband and I comment on the state of current attitudes about the military and the freedoms we both served to protect. Sometimes I just want to yell at some of the predjudiced and insane comments made by “civilian” leaders. What happened? Did we wake up one day and comman sense and reality just fly out the window? OOOPS….I get a little soap boxish too! Bottom line is thank you Deb and all the others for your kind comments.

I don’t understand what part of “freedom isn’t free” is so hard to comprehend, nor do I understand why some in this country ignore or want to do away with the freedoms that others like you have fought so hard for. I salute both you and your husband, and all the others like you, who are so willing to protect our freedoms!

Amen to all sentiments above! I am totally disheartened by the recent events with one of our OWN military personnel who chose to do the exact opposite of what he enlisted for in the first place!!! He took lives when he signed on to protect them! What is wrong with this picture! I think we need a reminder of what foundations our country was based on a LONG time ago! CHRISTIANITY!!! Sorry to anyone I offended. Those are my religious beliefs. Sometimes I think we as Christians are too quiet when we need to be stating the facts. God Bless the U.S.A.
