Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Yes, she did. She was an amazingly artistic woman. Her home was decorated by her, in dark pinks, purples, teals, and white, with wonderful gardens everywhere outside. Fairy statues everywhere, stone ones out in the gardens, and figurines inside. Flowers and herbs both dry and fresh everywhere as well. I miss her with every beat of my heart, and every breath that I take. My step dad said something profound as we drove away from her funeral. We were driving into the most amazing sunset, and he said, “I look at that sunset, and know that your mom is up there with her paint brush” I’ll never look at a sunset the same way again.

My mom passed on Oct. 30 and it is so hard not having her here with me. I don’t think it matters how old you are or she is, it is so hard to lose your mother.

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Thanks so much everyone. It’ll be 2 years in June, since she passed. I still do miss her very much. We had only really had a good relationship since ’98. So I feel as if I had very little timw with her. Her death was a sudden, unexpected one. There are so many things I wish I could have told her, but, you know what they say. “Hindsight is 20/20″.
