I spent my PhD in the middle of nowhere, and I remember heading in to classes or to the labs at dawn and seeing so much nature peeking out from the morning fog. Leaving at around midnight (or later) and the haze and fog would be starting to form in the low lying areas. Nice place – glad I’m back in a city.
So, some of the stones in this pick have glimpses of pattern or depth through the haze that remind me of that time and place.
