“In my bead box...”

Description from J Yee smart chick: Recently, I went thru some of my old stashes of beads, and found the following:
some ocean jasper rondelles and top drilled nuggets, some crazy lace, some purple crazy lace rondelles, some blue lace agate top drilled rough teardrops...
LOTS of seed beads in many different colors, esp purples, greens, aquas, some pinks... ;)
aquamarine, green tourmalinated, green chalcedony, blue chalcedony, and LOTS of rainbow fluorite...
and LOTS of pearls in bright colors that made sense to me when I bought 'em... like bright purple, teal, mango yellow... and now I find myself liking more subdued colors like the wild orchid pearls LB has...
the test will be shopping for more beads this weekend with my friend Laurel, when we go to the bead festival on Saturday... ;)

and Cindy, while I do have some plum pearls, you should see those bright purple pearls I have – they’re a REALLy artificial purple, more on the “cool” or blue/purple side, than the warmer plum that LB has, LOL…

I, too, have found a lot of “forgotten” items as I’ve been sorting through my stash. I haven’t been able to do much creating this Summer since my hand surgery in June. Hopefully, I’ll be back to it very soon.

I went thru my beads about 6 months ago, and pulled out everything I knew I would not use. I sold quite a bit of it to a co-worker who started beading about a year ago. She brought in one piece that she made with beads she bought from me, and it was so awesome, I was sorry I sold the beads!
However I still have a big basket of beads left that I would love to trade for something I would use!
