Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Still can’t find grass yet, but I am confident it is under there somewhere!

KittyMom Linda says:You are one talented chickie. The green, almost hidden, is peeking out, the browns of the dirt showing up here and there, you hit this one right on! Great pick.

Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Thanks, Linda! LOL, the brown is all the mud I am sure is under there!
My poor yard, and all my spring flowers are still sleeping. Should have crocus coming up by now.

KittyMom Linda says:Yes, I usually have crocus for Valentines Day. I have a feeling my Koi have all been killed too. The pond got totally covered when we were away. I don’t think there is any way the gases are able to escape. Trying not to think about them, gets me depressed.

Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:I have heard if they swim low enough they will not freeze. Is this possible they are still alive? I have a freind whose pond would totally freeze over, and her fish somehow survived. I hope that your fish are that lucky!

KittyMom Linda says:Freezing over is ok, but the snow is totally blocking any way for gases to escape, we’re talking over three feet on top. Even when frozen, the gases find tiny cracks to escape. Guess I’ll just have to wait and pray.

Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Oh, I hope that they will be fine! My children had fish for a time, now it is a giunea pig & our dog. Zak wants a lizard or snake….but I sure don’t!
