beaded banana says:Amidst the vines of the pumpkin patch, he patiently waits. Since 1966, Linus and his trusty blanket have waited for the arrival of the Great Pumpkin. Charlie Brown’s sister, little Sally, even skips out on a party to wait for the gigantic gourd’s magical arrival. Finally, the moment arrives…something stirs in the distance. Linus just can’t take the excitement and drops to the ground. But no pumpkin…it’s just Snoopy.
And so it goes on, year after year. Generations of kids who saw it on their black and white tiny televisions watch it with their grandkids on a giant flat screen TV.
There were so many great options for this Fresh Pick. I even had to start a second one to capture my other pumpkin-esque inspirations.
