LOL When he came home tonight (he was out of town), I asked him to tell me his favorite color. Of course, he looked puzzled, so I told him we were guessing what our guy’s faves are. I didn’t tell him anyone’s answers. I said just tell me your fave color. He thought for a couple of seconds and answered “yellow.” Well, I guess I kind of know him, because I told you that would be his second fave color. So, in an effort to prove that I had just reversed his top two choices in my mind, I asked him what his second fave color is and he said “red.” So now I’m thinking “Who are you and where is my real husband?” ROTFLOL So I asked him what his third fave color is. He just stared at me and finally said “I guess it would be blue.” Then I told him the whole story. We both laughed and he said it was close between red and blue for second place. Men — can’t live with ‘em, can’t kill ‘em.

I bought an olive one in the end but told Kimberly how disappointed I was that they didn’t have red. She said, “What IS it with both Papa and you and RED? He wanted a RED coat, too.” Well, it is a nice cheery color for a winter coat. But it’s also Cleve’s favorite color. Always has been.
